Papaya and Oats Smoothie

Nutritional Value

In this recipe, papaya is high in vitamin C, which is an antioxidant and can support immune function. It is also a good source of lycopene, which has anti-cancer properties. Additionally, both papaya and oats can increase the dietary fiber content in the drink, which would be beneficial to intestinal health. Furthermore, soy milk contains high-quality protein. Using it instead of water to prepare the supplement powder increases the protein content in the drink, helping cancer patients to consume more protein.

This papaya and oats smoothie can serve as an alternative way for cancer patients to consume powdered supplements. The preparation procedure is also simple. When making this smoothie, patients can replace papaya with other fruits they like. This not only adds novelty in consuming the dietary supplements, but also supports a more comprehensive nutrient intake.

Ingredients

  • Tropical fruit flavour nutritional milk 1 pack
  • Unsweetened soy milk 280 ml
  • Papaya 100 g
  • Oat 20 g

Directions

1. Blend all the ingredients together until smooth (Optional: reserve small amount of papaya and oats for garnishing the drink).

2. Top the reserved papaya and oats as garnish.

3. Serve and enjoy!
