Nutritional Value
Ten-grain rice has higher nutritional value compared with polished vice which has been milled to remove husk, bran and germ. Ten-grain rice contains rich fibre, minerals, plant-based protein while polished rice just has carbohydrates and calories. It is easier to digest ten-grain rice if it is prepared as congee.
