Nutritional Value
Sweet potatoes are nutritious, high in fiber and delicious. It is rich in beta-carotene which is an antioxidant to prevent cell proliferation. It is an excellent source of Vitamin C and potassium which is important for blood pressure control. It is rich in fibre and can stimulate bowel movement.
Ingredients
- 2 sweet potatoes
- 4 pieces old ginger
- 1 piece slab sugar
- 1000ml water
Directions
- Peel the sweet potatoes.
- Wash the ginger, slice it and pat it lightly.
- Boil the water.
- Add sliced ginger and sweet potatoes.
- After the water boils again, turn to medium-low power and cook for another 20-30 minutes until the sweet potatoes are soft.
- Add sugar.
